Anna's Race for Life

As some of you all know, I recently lost my grandma, affectionately known as Mumbie, just days before Christmas 2020. The void and impact of Mumbie not being on the end of the phone, not seeing her amazingly warm and welcoming face anymore, and my children not knowing the same engulfing love that she gave to everyone, is truly and utterly heart-breaking. Our family has also lost Fran, my aunt, many years ago to this horrendous disease so have dealt with it more times than any family ever should, and as half of all people will have cancer sometime in their life we will probably experience it again - No family should have to go through it even once. This is why I am asking for anyone and everyone to help me in raising as much as possible to beat cancer. We need to give our children and future generations don't have to suffer the utterly devastating and unmeasurable loss of a loved one. I have chosen to step out of my comfort zone and run 3k!! For those of you that know me well I can barely run 3 feet let alone 3k. So please please sponsor me for this amazing cause and in memory of Mumbie, Fran and everyone affected by cancer.
