My Story
Everyone has causes that are important to them, and this one is particularly personally important to me. I am running because this is a devastating disease that has the potential to be both survivable, and easily so. It affects the lives of so many families and I have so much hope for the ability to find more successful treatments, and even a cure. Anything that people are able to spare would be generously received as I attempt to run 10k. This may seem like a pathetic distance to some, but as someone who has always been self-deprecating in the face of exercise, this is a particular hurdle for me.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
