I'm taking part in Race for Life with my friend Hilary to raise money to beat cancer. Team "Annaphie & Hilary Race for Life"
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. This year having been bestest friends (BFF) for over 20 years we will be ‘walking’ the Race for Life, as a token of our friendship and in honour of all the hugs and cuppas we’ve shared over the years. Everyone needs a BFF, especially when life get tough, and we both have a wish that everyone touched by cancer has the support of a caring and loyal friend. We will, metaphorically, hold hands all the way (it will get too sticky to actually do this for 6 miles!) as we have throughout our friendship and over all the ups and downs of life.
