My Story
Cancer sucks. When we heard my father-in-law had cancer, it was awful. All the worst thoughts immediately spring to mind, so the relief we felt when his operation was successful and he got the eventual all clear was immense. It also meant when my lovely lovely friend Collette got her diagnosis, I naively felt pretty confident she'd be ok. Yep, chemo would be tough but after her op I thought she'd be fine. Tragically I was wrong. After a 3 year battle, Col died on March 18th. She fought with dignity and strength; and although she hated anyone saying it, she was easily the bravest and best of us all and I miss her.
