My Story
I am doing this in aid of two people: My dad was brilliant. Full of fun, full of life, full of jokes, he adored his family and his friends, fishing and tapping out tunes on a cassette case. He died of leukemia 12 years ago, at the age of 70. In many ways that's a good age, I know, but it was too young for those who loved him. I love him and miss him still, and I'm walking this marathon in his memory. Jules, my wonderful team mate who is in her early 40s and got cancer last year. A wonderful lady who was and continues to be fun, vivacious and full of life. Even when given the diagnosis she was thinking of others and being her wonderful caring self.
