My Story
20 years ago this year, my dad passed away due to Cancer. Taken far too early, like so many. On Saturday 23rd September, Family Green are walking half a marathon through the streets of London on what would have been his 81st birthday. My mum and husband and other close friends affected by Cancer within their families are joining us on this challenge. Also remembering my mother-in-law who will be in our thoughts throughout the walk. Statistics state, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
