My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to be taking on the 30 Day Plank Challenge in April to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. This is a very timely challenge for me as from the 1st April I will no longer be receiving cancer treatment. 31st March was the last day taking my aromatase inhibitor, the treatment for hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer to stop cancer cells from growing. April was also the month I first received my original diagnosis ten years ago. It therefore feels very fitting that I mark this by fundraising for Cancer Research UK which has had such a fundamental role in treating the disease that affects so many people. As a Pilates Instructor you would think that doing a plank would be pretty easy, but to let you into a secret, I teach them but generally avoid doing them myself. So it's time to practise what I preach and I hope that you will support me with a donation, however small. Thank you!
