My Story
CRUK is a charity that has become very close to my heart in the last few years. It affects everyone, whether that be being diagnosed with cancer or being close to someone that has. I am training to run the Loch Ness Marathon on the 3rd of October 2021 in a hope to raise money that will help support the life saving diagnosis and treatment research that CRUK is funding. CRUK has a huge role in the development of therapies, clinical trials and identifying and developing new treatments. Their research has helped develop 8 out of the worlds top 10 cancer treatments. CRUK has played a role in the development of radiotherapy that benefits 130,000 patients in the UK every year. A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart for any donations. It means a lot to me and will keep me going during the 26.2 miles. Anna xx

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
