Anita takes on Sweatember
I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in April this year, and the treatment I’ve received has been fantastic. I feel that, thanks to the brilliant staff at QE, I’m making great progress and will recover from this. This September, I’m taking on Sweatember, an epic 30-day exercise challenge for Cancer Research UK. I may not be able to do exercise on every day, as I’m scheduled for more chemo and/or surgery on September but I’m determined to do my bit for this. I’ve not set a high target, but you’re very welcome to help me exceed this. I’ve been delighted to be able to sponsor a PhD researcher with her studies, but would like to do more. Help me raise money to fund life-saving cancer research by sponsoring me. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
