My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I lost my dad to cancer, and not a day goes by where I don’t think about him. He loved to walk — always moving, and always making his regular runs to the mosque. I am taking part in the Race for Life, to help support all those who have had to fight against cancer, even for those who no longer may be with us. We all know someone, whether its a friend, family, colleague, neighbour or even a friends friend that has been touched by this horrible disease.
