I'm taking part in 10k Twilight Walk 2019!
Our story About this event: The 10K Twilight Walk returns in May 2019. We started the event in 2010 to mark 10 years since my Granny Thompson passed away with cancer. This year marks the 10th year of the Twilight Walk! With almost 600 participants taking part in 2018 and raising £27,800, we are taking the steps towards beating cancer. The event is open to men and women aged 13 and over, the walk starts at the Garioch Sports Centre in Inverurie before taking participants on a tour of the town in the twilight. Special thanks to Main Sponsor J.G Ross Bakers (Ltd) and all those that support the Twilight Walk. Since 2010 the Twilight Walk has raised £315,000 for Cancer Research UK's life saving work! Get involved: The event brings together the local community to walk and fundraise to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Every year we are overwhelmed by the community support and we hope 2019 will be the best year yet as we mark our 10th year of the Twilight Walk.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
