My Story
It’s been 2 years since I last ran Race For Life. The first time, I ran it for my Aunty Janice and cousin Anthony. Over the next two races I did, I added my Nana to that list. This year, I’m adding my absolutely brilliant pal, Jack James Ryan, who kicked Cancer’s ass in the final year of drama school. As if third year wasn’t tough enough. Chill out, Jack, honestly. And, I’m adding my incredible Mum. This time last year, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It was more than a little scary, but we were lucky, and now a year down the line, she’s through the worst treatment and surgery and doing wonderfully well. Cancer diagnosis has gone up from 1 in 4, to 1 in 2. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Across the 3 previous events, I’ve raised £1316. This year, my target is £500, but it would be AMAZING if I could smash £2k total. Which means my real target is £684. Whatever you can spare to donate, every pound is important. Love, light and many thanks, Angie xx
