My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. My Mum recently passed away after being diagnosed with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. It was a very aggressive form of the disease which also attacked her kidneys as well as other places in her body. I am thankful she didn’t suffer too long, but also heartbroken that she got taken at all. I also have a friend who is fighting this disease right now. She is such a brave lady! Mum of 5 boys and never complains! I lost a friend 4 years ago as well and she left behind 2 children! I have lost family and have family who have beaten it! Let’s raise as much as we can to help find a cure! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
