This is the first 5k I’ve ever entered, and highly likely to also be my last! Everyone who knows me will be surprised, as my natural habitat is a sofa (with an industrial amount of chocolate close by). Cancer has devastated my family; it’s indiscriminate. Young, old, fit, sedentary... Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
