My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Back in May 2018 I lost my father after he battled against bladder cancer for many months. There were complications beyond his control and tragically the cancer spread to a point where treatment simply couldn't save him. This was the second time my amazing dad had a fight on his hands against this crippling illness. Over 30 years ago he managed to successfully beat a different type of cancer but as you all know the big 'C' can come back as quickly as you fight it off! It's time to stand up to cancer and to do this I could really do with your help. I'm sure we all know of someone that has been affected by this gruelling illness, it's hold is as far reaching as it is debilitating. Sadly, I have other family members now facing many months of treatment. Please, please support the cause and give cancer a kick up the backside.
