I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
This time last year I had just been diagnosed with breast cancer. After surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy I received the news last week that it was gone! Now this doesn't happen by magic but by a lot of work from everyone involved at each stage of treatment. I have a lot to be thankful for but how much better would it be to stop it before this tedious treatment plan even starts. Support research and give future cancer patients an even better change!!
