My Story
I bet every one of us has been affected by cancer in some way. I have lost family and friends to this disease, but I also know survivors. The courage people show when they are battling cancer is beyond anything I have ever experienced, so this walk is for them, to remember them and to fight alongside them. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
