I'm walking the Shine Night Walk in the fight to beat Cancer in memory of my dear friend Sandy.
In memory of
Sandy
I last did the Shine Night Walk seven years ago in 2011 when my dear friend Sandy was first diagnosed with Cancer. It was hearing she had Cancer that inspired me to do the Shine walk the first time. Sadly Sandy lost her battle with this dreadful disease in April this year and it seems fitting that I do it again but this time in her memory. Please donate anything you can, big or small, to help fund research into this dreadful disease and also to encourage me on the night when it gets tough! Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
