We need to continue the battle against cancer and to improve the treatment for those who suffer it.
My Story
Angela's vulval cancer was first treated in 2009 with major surgery and a number of follow up procedures due to recurrences. Barbara, Angela's sister was diagnosed with breast cancer a few weeks ago and is now starting to build herself back to good health following a mastectomy on 5th April. Thankfully no radiotherapy or chemotherapy is needed but she will be taking a pill every day for the rest of her life. Kate is Angela's daughter and Barbara's niece. She is a mother of a fourteen month old beautiful boy. Her motivation includes working to improve prevention, treatment and cures for her family and everyone. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
