Angela's and Edith's Running for Cancer Research Giving Page

We're raising as much as we can to beat cancer. Edi and I wanted to run together again in the Aberdeen Race for Life 5k on 9th June and I'm taking on the challenge of running the BHGE 10k on May 5th.

My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're raising money today for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! In March 2018, inspired by Edi's contagious enthusiasm for running, Angela decided that it looked like running may be quite fun, so embarked on the couch to 5k program in preparation for Race For Life in June. It turned out that 5k was actually possible, brilliant fun and slightly addictive. Both Edi and Angela have continued to run through all weathers, seasons and in 4 Countries, and where one of us excels in speed, the other makes up for a lack of it in perseverance....you can decide who is who! Anyway...like everyone in UK, our family and friends have been affected by cancer, this year we are running to support Auntie Astrid during her pancreatic cancer treatment and to remember family members no longer with us Harry, Sheila and Lindsay.
