My Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Sadly, most of us will be affected by Cancer at some point in our lives. Whether it’s us directly fighting the battle, or supporting one of our loved ones get through it. For me personally, Cancer has had a devastating impact on my life. My mum was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in February 2024, and from then on life has never been the same. Despite her resilience and determination, she sadly lost the battle in December 2024. It is a horrible illness which slowly drains the life out of a person. Cancer took this bundle of life away from the world and it will never be the same. However, despite all her pain, not once did she stop being brave. I want to do my best to prevent anyone else going through this pain. For this reason, in honour of my mum, I’ve signed up for the 10k Race For Life, in hopes to raise at least a little bit of money for Cancer Research UK. Thank you for taking the time to read my story - please always check yourself for any lumps and go for regular check ups - even if you think it’s nothing it’s better to be safe than sorry🩷
