My Story
Like many of you, I have close family with cancer. Their stories have many similarities and some differences, but we support them no matter what. I have seen both successful outcomes and not so successful outcomes and I know the stress & strain it can bring to all involved. As well as giving my family as much support as possible, I am running this Half Marathon in honour of all my close family & friends who are fighting cancer and for those who have both lost and won their battles and is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. We can all do our bit and this is how I'm doing mine. Donate to my page today if you can, no matter how big or small and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
