My Story
Hi Guys, I am taking part in the Great North Run 2020 with a view to help raising money for Cancer Research UK. As a family we have been affected by this horribly cruel disease on more than one occasion, sometimes with not so positive outcomes sadly, but thanks in part to the work done by organisations such as Cancer Research UK there have been other occasions with positive outcomes. It is for this reason why we're fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK in the hope that by raising as much as possible families affected by this illness in the future will find that those positive outcomes far outweigh the negative outcomes and with a hope that there will be one day when all cancers are cured. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
