Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I’ll be ditching the Booze for one month to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. 2016 saw a number of friends close to our family die of various cancers. I'm sure you all know of someone whether family or friends that have been affected by cancer and the devastation it causes. Just think of the celebrities we have lost in 2016 due to cancer like David Bowie, Terry Wogan, Alan Rickman, the list goes on. We live in an age of amazing technological achievements and discovery's. Wouldn't it be amazing if one of those in 2017 was the cure for cancer. So if I can help just a little bit to further that goal and get you to sponsor me, then together we could achieve that wouldn't it be great. This is going to be a challenge for me I like my Friday evening beers and Saturday evening glass of wine or 2,3,4.....I have tried twice previously to go through January not drinking alcohol and failed dismally!! So I thought this year if I did it for charity and have sponsors then the guilt of giving up will be too much. I have commissioned a couple of witnesses to help me namely my Mum (who doesn't touch alcohol and my sister in law who I'm scared of! so hopefully should keep me on the straight and narrow). So Please dig deep and donate if you can. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
