Running 10 Days of 5K in October for Stand Up to Cancer
My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m doing the 10 Days of 5k Challenge in October for Stand Up To Cancer to help fund life-saving research. I'm registered blind and was a keen runner. However, I was diagnosed with arthritis and in 2024 I had a hip replacement, Since then, I have only been able to run 5k parkruns every now and again so committing to running 50km throughout October is going to be a challenge. I decided to do this because I am very passionate about the work Cancer Research does and I have also had am very passionate about. I also was diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma skin cancer in 2023.
