My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, before the end of the month, I will complete at least 300 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. Like many people I have friends and family who have been affected by cancer. I've also been very lucky in that an early, albeit accidental diagnosis led to a very successful treatment for my mother. She was discharged from care and declared cured nearly 4 years ago. With your support, perhaps my little effort can help ensure that more and more people can share this success.

All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
