My Story
Last year I lost my dad after his battle with cancer. Watching someone you love go through that changes you and stays with you. I am running this 5k in his memory. Cancer does not just affect the person diagnosed. It affects families friends and everyone around them. Most of us are touched by it in one way or another. By raising money and awareness I hope to help support those currently fighting and fund research for the future. This run is for my dad and for everyone affected by cancer.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
