My Story
Olivia and I are taking part in the Race for Life 5k to raise vital money for cancer research.I'm not a runner so will walk as fast as my arthritic legs will carry me, i'm sure Olivia will race round with the best of them, but as my mum always says its the taking part that counts!! Why am i doing this? well as many of you know my wonderful Dad fought and beat cancer last year, however we've had the devastating news that he has cancer again, and will need to battle this evil disease all over again. Whilst there is little I can do to help in his fight other than to support him and my mum (who is being wonderfully brave as always), we can get out there and help fundraise. I'm therefore asking each and every one of my friends to donate as much or as little as you can. Many of us grab a coffee on the way to work or whilst out shopping, could you spare that £2.50 and donate it to Olivia and I? Thank you in advance for any donations received Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
