In memory of
Dean Ragsdell
11th Jul 1968 - 1st Mar 2017
My husband, my dad, a very fit and active man, was diagnosed with cancer on the 21st December last year. We had no clue that he was poorly until after feeling a little unwell was sent for tests. On the 12th January we were then told that his cancer was of unknown origin but secondaries had spread to the lymph nodes and stomach cavity. Dean was given weeks to months to live as aggressive. He was 48. The six weeks leading up to his death were horrific. We tried as a family to carry on as normal but as the cancer progressed Dean became a shadow of himself. It was so quick and day by day he became weaker. Us as a family cared for him until he passed at home, as he had asked, with us all by his side.
