I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer, every mile will be a struggle but hopefully will contribute towards the prevention and cure of cancer.

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. I am raising money for Cancer research by completing the Great North Run in September 2019. My motivation is to raise as much as possible to contribute towards research into all forms of cancer. Many of us will know someone who has had cancer or is being treated for cancer. My grandma Edith died of breast cancer and my father Donald has had cancer of the brain and now in remission. It will be a difficult 13 miles but every footstep will be a contribution towards the research for a cure for cancer. I am truly grateful for any donations.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
