My Story

We've both loved and lost people to cancer over the years, and we know people and their families who we care about who are just beginning their treatment. We want to raise money for them and everybody affected by cancer. For those of you who don't know, and are wondering how come we're walking rather than running the Race for Life, here's why. Cal was off work for a year with herniated discs in her back. She could hardly put one foot in front of the other, and just avoided spine surgery. So, the 10k will be somewhat of an achievement a year on as she continues to build her strength. Plus, it happened to be on our friend's bucket list so we'll all be doing it together!
