My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! I'm running this in memory of my Dad who lost his life to asbestosis mesothelioma in 2018. It was the day before New years eve in 2017 i received the call from my Dad to say he had been given until the summer, he was up beat and carried on working and going places, however from March 2018 he started to lose a lot of weight, stopped eating, and was house bound from April, the Macmillan care team were amazing and i spent everyday with him until he passed away in the July of 2018. Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
