This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. I have chosen to support Cancer Research as cancer has had a huge impact on my family. When I was very young my Grandad Pete was diagnosed with lung cancer and, despite treatment, sadly died. Several years later my Grandad Bob became unwell and was found to be suffering from lymphoma. He spent many months having treatment and fighting this disease. While he can never be fully cured of it , he is now in remission, feeling very healthy and enjoying life again. I know the amazing work done by cancer research has supported my family and so many others at times when they need help the most. This is my motivation for this challenge and I really appreciate any help, however small, that you can offer. Thank you, Amy xxx

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
