In memory of my nan that sadly lost her 2 year battle with cancer 6 years ago on the 11th of April, i have chosen to take part in the Race for Life to help raise money for Cancer Research. On the 24th April i will be taking part in the Race for life by completing a 5K walk or jog. However i am aiming to push myself to walk or jog 120km between the 5th of April and 26th April, averaging 5-6km a day. After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever.
