My Story

As most of you are aware I lost my lovely mother in law Cath last year to cancer, she was a massive part of our family, missed by so many and gone far to soon! All down to this horrible disease. After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. I have never done anything like this before and I'm not a runner so this will be a challenge. But in knowing that every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work will be my motivation. I know money is tight for some at the moment so any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
