My Story
My mum was my biggest supporter and I could not be prouder to race for her. Cancer is happening right now, everywhere. And in the face of something that makes us feel so powerless, Race For Life gives us the opportunity to make a difference. For all the times where I felt helpless throughout my mum’s illness, this was the one thing I could do to help her and everyone like her. If you can spare 10p or £10, anything you donate will go towards managing this disease for people whom this has become their life. And, hopefully, one day we won’t have to race anymore. Hopefully, one day cancer will be a distant memory. But until then, I am running for Emma.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
