My Story
Cancer is happening right now and it’s happening to my Dad. He was diagnosed with Bladder cancer in 2015. He’s gone through Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, Immunotherapy and now it’s looking like he’ll need another round of Chemotherapy. We as a family remain incredibly positive and no one more so than my dad himself. It has absolutely not got the better of him and he refuses to let it define him, he continues to work hard and manage a football team. But, this could be a very different story if it wasn’t for all the amazing people who have donated to Cancer Research UK. I feel totally useless and I live so far away from him that I felt I needed to have a positive focus and feel like I’m helping in some tiny way. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. My lovely friends and I can’t run at all but we’re willing to try. We’d all appreciate anything you’re able to donate.
