I am doing this race as a personal achievement for 2018. I have also lost someone close to me through cancer, and I know so many who's lives have been impacted by it in one way or another. So basically I am happy with whatever I raise, but no pressure - just if you were thinking of donating to something today, next week or next month, I would be forever grateful if you could do it in support of me running a bloody long way on a Sunday morning!
