My Story
This July I am taking part in the Race for Life 5k to raise money for Cancer Research in memory of my amazing Mum. When I was 1 years old my Mum got breast cancer, she was just 27 years old. After a few years she won her battle with cancer for a short time, until she received the news that she had bone cancer. Throughout her fight against cancer I regularly cared for her, until she died aged 37 when I was 11 years old. I would really appreciate if you could make a donation, big or small so that less people have to go through what my family and so many others have.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
