My Story
Many of you know that I'm expecting twins in spring, however, I'm going to be getting straight back into the trainers as I've joined Team Iksuda in running the 40th Great North Run for Cancer Research UK. Cancer is affecting so many of us right now. Donating to CRUK helps to fund vital research towards understanding and curing people with this disease, which I have been actively involved in through my PhD research and now in my role at Iksuda. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
