We will be running the Pretty Muddy 5K in memory of loved ones and also to show support to anyone who is fighting or has lost to cancer
This year me and a few work colleagues have decided to take part in Race for Life to stand up and fight for those fighting, have fought or have lost to cancer. Cancer Research is a charity that is close to me and many others. By taking part and carrying out some fundraising I hope that we can help take an extra step into finding a way to eradicate this devastating disease and in the meantime help support anyone fighting it while also taking time to remember everyone who has lost their fight to cancer. Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer and every four minutes someone loses their life to cancer. These statistics are a real eye opener which motivates us all to fight harder than ever to help try and make a difference. So on September 15th we will be participating in the Pretty Muddy 5k with friends and family.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
