The Crazy Marathon Rush
London - Lee Valley Full Marathon 2017
Sun 8 Oct 2017
To raise money for all those who have been affected by cancer.
In memory of
Patricia Pearson & Many More
Holy bananas guys, I have left this ridiculously late! The official party line is this: "I'm taking part in a Race for Life Marathon to raise money and save lives." The reality is this: I have signed up for a marathon being only in sub-par health, with a minimal training plan, and a growing feeling that I am going to collapse before the halfway point. The one thing that can help me through this crazy endeavour of craziness? You guys! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I've personally lost a family member to cancer and have seen many more people go through struggles and loss. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, which will help make sure this isn't the case for future generations. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Simply clickedy click and give whatever you want. Please be king though; I mean I am running a marathon here (in theory). Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK, pinkie promise. Aaaand that's pretty much the jist of it. If I can make even £100 I will be overwhelmingly happy. Wish me luck!
