My Story
Back in November a very close friend of my sisters died after a brave battle against cancer. Lorna was far to young to die. Every day I go to work and see the truly devastating effect cancer has on those left behind. I teach Lorna's youngest son, Billy. He is a brave, kind hearted boy who is doing incredibly well. I am doing my little bit in hope that one day cancer will not take any more mothers, fathers, siblings or friends. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
