Cancer is happening around us every day. LETS MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!

In memory of

Diane & Jessie

My Story

My Best friend Diane was just 29 when diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. she underwent a mastectomy and chemotherapy as she awaited for the radiotherapy she found a second lump, after tests were performed it was comfirmed that the cancer returned in the remaining breast tissue. This time wasnt so good and she was given 1 to 2 years to live. Sadly just 8 months later the battle was over. Diane fell asleep for the last time December 16. The only possitive thing that came of that day is that she was no longer in pain. Diane was such a brave lady, she would talk to anyone openly about it and she would never get sad. She left 3 young children, a partner, loving family and friends that love her dearly and will never forget her. I'm doing this race and shall do yearly for as long as I can in her memory. We will forever miss her. Jessie is Daniel's Nan who I don't quite know as much but she had a battle with cancer too. She sadly fell asleep for the final time a little over a year ago now. Both always in my thoughts. Also in honour of my Nan, who bet cancer and every other battler of cancer. Thank you to each and everyone of you for reading the story and no matter what you are able to donate it will make a difference. :)
