My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! I heard about Dryathlon on the radio and thought what a great way to start the year - raising money for Cancer Research UK by going booze-free for the month of January. We all know people who have been affected by cancer and I’m sure we all know people who have lost their battle. It is inevitable that at some point in our lives we will all be affected by this cruel disease so let’s try to make a positive difference to vital cancer research - please show your support with a donation to my page, every penny helps! Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
