Ami's Race for Life

5 years ago, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, which had already started to spread. I was young, with young children, so I knew I had to fight to keep my brilliant life. Without the great work to find treatment I would not be here today, my boys, Oliver and James, would not have a Mummy and I need to be here to keep Mark on track as his wife! I have a wonderful family, which is huge with amazing support. I have the best friends anybody could wish for and great help from work colleagues too....I had to fight! I couldn't have had the same chance years before, so please give anything you can to help anybody diagnosed with this terrible disease and allow them to fight and tell their story afterwards. Unfortunately, we all know somebody who is battling, has survived or who has died from cancer. One of the greatest was my Gran, she was taken too soon from us all. I miss her humour, her stories and her apple pie to name a few. I was so lucky to have had her in my life, but nearly 20 years ago she didn't have the same chance I did with the research carried out.
