When i met my husband almost a decade ago i didnt realise i was geting a best friend alongside. Daniel and Grant have been best friends for longer than either of them can remember and its hard to think of one without the other which is why when on 31st December 2019 Grant was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma we were absolutely heartbroken. Having been diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma a few years ago and winning that battle we have are praying he can beat this one too! He is facing the fight of his life and there isnt a lot I can do to make this fight easier for him which is why we have decided to take part in the race this year. To raise as much money as we possibly can to fund research and treatment so that he and others can fight and WIN this battle!! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
