My Story
Thank you for visiting my page. I am taking part in this race to remember my loving Grandad, who sadly passed away back in 2003. Also to remember my beautiful Auntie Heidi, who passed away in 2011 at a very young age. Finally, to remember my Uncle Harry and other friends and family members we've lost over the years. Any donations received will help to fund research into the many different types of cancer that affect people of all ages. As most of you know, I am not the most athletic person and so this will be a fun and exciting challenge for me. Every pound you donate really does make a difference, so please dig deep and donate whatever you can. Thank you so much for your support!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
