My Story
We are doing Pretty Muddy in memory of Holly’s grandma and mine and Ju’s mother in law. Elaine and her husband Morris were diagnosed with terminal cancer just months apart, both with the expectancy of 1 year. They moved back to Chesterfield to be closer to family and spend more time with us. They made good use of the time they had left and lived the remainder of their life to the full. Elaine lost her fight in October 2019, just over a year after loosing Morris. Their determination to not let cancer rule their lives meant they spent another 5 years together. By taking part in Pretty Muddy and raising money for Cancer Research, hopefully we can help buy more people precious time with their loved ones and maybe one day beat cancer for good.
