Nearly two years ago around this time I lost my grandad to Lung Cancer. It was just as I'd crossed the finish line at the pretty Muddy at Clumber Park that I was told he'd lost his battle with Cancer and had died that very same day. Watching him die wasn't easy nor was the Pretty Muddy challenge to be fair but knowing that my difficulties in getting through the course would help towards making a difference to someone else's family gave me the strength and determination I needed to see it through. Thank you Grandad Brian for Believing in me! and for giving me that kick up the arse I sometimes needed. You embraced me and Ezekiel as though we were your very own. Thank you for taking such good care of Nan and for leaving such a great legacy. This is for you, I'm going to #BeExraordinary on June 30th because you taught me to be nothing but.
